Borehole Construction
TASTE's Whole Programme Management approach begins with a geological survey to ascertain the best location for the borehole and doesn't stop until the water is flowing continuously. If power isn't available for an electric pump, we'll install a hand-pump until power can be arranged. If you know about a community that needs a clean water supply, let us know and we'll see what we can do. We may be able to arrange funding for the project or we may get back to you so that you can raise the required funds. If appropriate, we'll work with the community to help them access funding from UK, EU or US sources. A typical borehole costs between £2500 and £3000. If you'd like to help a community, call us and we'll talk with you about how you can help us to generate some, or all, of the cost.
