Ken was born in Sheffield but left the City briefly for his teacher training in Liverpool. 

After teaching in secondary schools in the city, he is now the head teacher of Bethany School, a Christian school that he helped to set-up in 1987. Ken is married with two daughters, Sarah and Anna, and countless grandchildren.

Serving as a Trustee since our inception, Ken is often the one who challenges our thinking and encourages us to consider practical ways of putting our faith into action.
