Seen as one of the toughest pieces of anti corruption legislation in the world, The Bribery Act 2010 came into full force in July 2011. By October 2011, it had already been used to successfully prosecute a UK court official. Although it is early days, it is likely that UK funders will very soon require all recipients of funds to show that they are complying with the legislation set out in the Bribery Act.
